Kelly Nierman is an entrepreneur, storyteller, and the founder of The Quarry Shop, an online boutique known for its handcrafted jewelry and thoughtfully curated collections.

Creativity has always been at the center of everything she does. Writing The Beebles of Blopple allowed Kelly to bring together her love of storytelling with her passion for imagination, wonder, and creating something meaningful to share with others.

Kelly was born and raised in Crystal Lake, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago. Growing up in the late 1970s and 80s felt like a dream—filled with family trips, imaginative play with her sister Michelle, and endless hours of creativity. Around the age of thirteen, Kelly began doodling whimsical little characters she called the Beebles, playful sprites that never quite left her imagination.

For more than three decades, Kelly built a successful career in the corporate world, yet she always carried a deep love of storytelling and a longing to return to her creative roots. With her husband, Jeff's encouragement, she finally took a leap of faith and decided to bring the Beebles to life.

The Beebles of Blopple is Kelly’s debut children’s book—a whimsical adventure that celebrates kindness and the idea that the kindest hearts open the door to true friendship. The story’s main character, Emma, is named after Kelly’s beloved stepdaughter, making the journey even more personal and meaningful.

Through Emma’s discovery of the Beebles, Kelly hopes to create stories that invite children and families to laugh, dream, and discover the everyday magic that may be hiding just around the corner.

Writing this book has been one of the greatest adventures of her life—and the story of the Beebles is only just beginning.
