About the Author

Kelly Nierman was born and raised in Crystal Lake, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago. Growing up in the late 70s and 80s felt like a dream—filled with family trips, imaginative play with her sister Michelle, and endless hours of creativity. At around thirteen, Kelly began doodling whimsical little characters she called the Beebles—playful sprites that never left her imagination.

For more than three decades, she built a rewarding career in the corporate world, but always carried a longing for personal creativity and a deep love of storytelling. With the encouragement of her husband, Jeff, Kelly finally took a leap of faith to bring the Beebles to life.

The Beebles of Blopple is her debut children’s book—a fun and whimsical tale that, at its heart, is about kindness and how the kindest hearts open the door to true friendship. The story’s main character, Emma, is named after Kelly’s beloved step-daughter, making the adventure even more personal and meaningful. Through Emma’s journey with the Beebles, Kelly hopes to share stories that invite children and families to laugh, dream, and discover the everyday magic all around them.
